Protests have been happening around the city & the Canadian Embassy has asked us to be careful. We still feel very safe here & will continue on as normal.
During the last Presidential election, 4 years ago there were large riots. One of the parliament building was burned to almost to the ground. Teresa & the kids will be leaving a week before the election & I will stay until after the election.
